Accessibility statement

This site is built to meet WCAG 2.2 level AA. That target applies to every page, including the knowledge library.

The statement covers askomnium.co.uk. It does not cover supplier portals or third party sign-in pages we link to, which are outside our control.

• Every page uses a single first level heading and a heading order that can be navigated in sequence.
• The whole site can be operated from the keyboard, and focus is always visible. Menus and the login control can be opened, moved through with the arrow keys and closed with Escape, which returns focus to the control that opened them.
• Text and interface colours are checked against the AA contrast thresholds in both light and dark sections.
• Body text sits on a fixed measure and reflows to a single column at 320 px without loss of content, and can be enlarged to 200% without horizontal scrolling.
• Diagrams are marked as figures with a text caption, and decorative artwork is hidden from assistive technology.
• Data is published in real tables with proper header cells, not as images of tables.
• Form fields have visible labels, and errors are named in text next to the field and announced, not signalled by colour alone.
• Motion is limited to a single fade and rise, and is switched off entirely when the operating system is set to reduce motion.

Some documents we publish originate as PDFs from suppliers and regulators. Where one of those is not tagged for screen reader use, we cannot correct the original, but we will provide the content in another format on request.

Where a knowledge sheet carries a wide data table, it scrolls horizontally on a small screen. The table keeps its header cells so it stays navigable.

If something on this site stops you doing what you came to do, tell us at hello@askomnium.co.uk with the page address and what happened. We treat it as a fault to be fixed, not as feedback to be filed.

If you are not satisfied with how we respond, our complaints procedure applies and it ends in an independent stage.
