Where we look
Reduction work starts from what the meters recorded, not from a survey sheet. We look for load running to no purpose out of hours, plant working against the way the building is used, and standing charges still attaching to meters that serve nothing.
Where a site is genuinely peaky by nature, we say so. A kitchen, a spa or a pumping station is not a fault to be corrected.
How options are costed
Each option is costed from your own consumption and your own contracted rates. The calculation is shown, including the assumptions it rests on and the figures we could not confirm. Where the data does not support a change, that is the finding and the option is dropped.
Options range from changes to controls and operating hours through to lighting, heating and ventilation work, on site generation and storage. Larger works are covered under projects and technology.
What you decide
You receive a written list of options with the working behind each one, ordered by what the record supports rather than by what is easiest to install. Nothing proceeds until you say it should, and you hold every contract yourself.
Where an option affects a compliance obligation or an agreed capacity level, the report says which one and by when.
How a measure is tested
Every option follows the same order, so a measure that does not stand up on your own figures is stopped before it reaches a proposal.
What happens before a measure is put to you
Load identified from the data
The consumption behind the measure is taken from the meter record for that site, not from a typical figure for the building type.
Cause established on site
The plant, control setting or operating pattern behind the load is confirmed, so the measure addresses the cause rather than the symptom.
Saving calculated from your own rates
The volume saved is priced at the rates on your contract, including the standing and non-commodity elements that apply.
Cost obtained, not assumed
Installation is priced from a quotation for your site. Where no quotation exists yet, the measure is shown as uncosted.
Put to you with the workings
You receive the figures, the assumptions and the payback, and you decide whether it proceeds.

- Install the works. We are not the installer and take no commission from one.
- Recommend a measure we cannot evidence from your own figures.
- Present a saving without stating what it was priced against.
- Proceed with anything you have not approved in writing.
What it costs
The initial review that identifies where energy is being wasted is not charged for. Beyond that, either a margin included in the unit rate on contracts we place or a fixed fee agreed in writing before work starts.
To begin we need the latest full invoice for each meter and a signed Letter of Authority.

How to check this
Each claim on this page is answered by something you can read for yourself. Nothing below states a figure; it names the document or register the claim is held against.
Point 01
We hold a Level 1 Letter of Authority only
The authority wording sets out what we may do with your data and states that we cannot sign a contract on your behalf. Read it before you sign it.
Point 02
How we are paid is agreed in writing before you sign
Our margin or management fee is stated in the terms that accompany a recommendation, and nothing is added afterwards.
Point 03
Every figure we quote carries a dated source document
Records state the figure, what it is measured against, the document it is taken from and the date on that document. Records still held anonymous are labelled as such.
Point 04
Consumption figures come from meter and supplier data, not estimates
Where a reading is estimated or missing, the record says so rather than filling the gap.
Point 05
The initial review is carried out at no charge
Send a full recent invoice for each meter and sign the Letter of Authority. We report our findings and the options in writing, including where everything is already in order.
