Referral partnership

Introduce a business. We look after them. You share the reward.

Introduce.We deliver.You share.

The invitation

An introduction to Omnium puts a business in genuinely safe hands, and earns you a share of the revenue we generate, up to 25%, agreed with you in writing before we begin.

Most of our new business comes through people who trust us to look after the companies they send our way. That is the whole model. When you introduce a business, we protect your relationship with them, and we reward you properly for the connection.

Your reputation is safe with us. When you recommend someone, your name is on it. Referral partners keep coming back because we make them look good.

  • A Certified B Corp

Scoring 98.9 on the B Impact Assessment, we are legally accountable for how we balance client outcomes with profit.

  • Shown on the rate

Our remuneration sits on the rate, line by line, so your contact always sees what they pay.

  • Advice, not a pitch

If switching will not help, we say so. No call centre, no pressure, no hidden agenda.

What your contact gets

The same work we do for every client, with our remuneration shown on the rate rather than buried in it.

A genuine review, not a sales call

We look at what a business actually uses and pays, and tell them plainly where the opportunity is, or that there is not one.

Procurement across every utility

Electricity, gas, water and waste, tendered properly, with our remuneration shown openly rather than buried in the rate.

Savings beyond the rate

Capacity charges, energy waste, power factor and network costs: the savings a price comparison alone never finds.

Compliance handled, not just flagged

ESOS, SECR, MEES and carbon reporting, explained in plain English and managed on their behalf.

A typical broker

  • Payment buried in the unit rate the client never sees
  • Earns on the switch, then moves on
  • A middleman between client and supplier

Omnium

  • Remuneration shown on the rate, line by line
  • Stays on: manages the contract, checks the bills, finds more
  • An adviser genuinely on the client’s side

How the reward works

You introduce a business, we do the work, and when it becomes a paying client you receive a share of the revenue we generate, up to 25%. Where you sit in that range reflects how warm and well-qualified the introduction is.

  1. You introduce

Point us towards a business you think we can help, and make the connection.

  2. We deliver

We review, advise, and if it is right for them, take the business on as a client, the way you would want them treated.

  3. You earn

A short written agreement confirms your share, then you are paid on the revenue we generate.

Straight about the detail

The reward is a share of the revenue we actually generate from a business you introduce, up to 25%, confirmed in writing before we start. It is not a flat finder’s fee, and not a fixed 25% for every introduction: the figure reflects the quality of the referral. There is no cost to you and no obligation on your contact. If we cannot help them, we tell them, and you have still done them a good turn.

How and when you are paid

Once a business you introduce is live, your share is paid on a clear monthly cycle. You are only ever paid from money we have actually received from suppliers, and everything settles within the same month.

  1. 15th

    We statement

On the 15th we issue a statement of all monies received from suppliers that month for the businesses you have introduced.

  2. 15th+

    You invoice

You raise your invoice against that statement for your agreed share, and send it back to us promptly.

  3. 28th

    We pay

We settle every invoice received on the 28th of the same month. Your share is in your account, that month.

You are only paid from money we have received

The statement is generated from monies actually received from suppliers, not estimated or accrued. We never pay ahead of being paid, which keeps the arrangement clean and sustainable for both sides, and every figure on your statement is real money in the door. It is the same transparency we give our clients: nothing assumed, everything evidenced.

Your share percentage is set out in your referral agreement; this covers the payment mechanism only. To keep payments running smoothly, please invoice promptly once your statement arrives so it clears by the 28th.

Who to think of

We help best where energy is a real cost, though a good introduction in any sector is worth a conversation.

If you deal with business owners, finance decision-makers or property and facilities people, you almost certainly know a company paying more than it needs to.

An introduction costs your contact nothing and commits them to nothing. If we cannot help, we say so.

Questions about the programme

The programme is open to professionals who introduce businesses to us in the ordinary course of their own work: accountants, commercial property brokers, facilities consultants, energy auditors and similar advisers. You do not need to be an existing client.

Any organisation that spends enough on energy, water or waste for an independent review to matter, and that would value a dated, documented assessment of what it pays. Hotels, hospitality groups, industrial sites, multi-site retail and co-working spaces tend to fit well, though a strong introduction in another sector is always worth a conversation.

A warm connection is ideal: you know the decision-maker, the business is out of contract or approaching its end date, and there is a clear issue such as rising costs, poor visibility of invoices, or an upcoming compliance deadline. The closer you are to the contact, the higher the reward band we can agree.

We are registered with the Energy Ombudsman and operate under a Level 1 Letter of Authority only. Our remuneration is shown on the rate, line by line, and the referral agreement is signed before any supplier work begins. We do not cold-call, and we do not sign contracts on a business's behalf.

Your contact details and any information about the businesses you introduce are held only to run the referral programme. They are not sold or used for marketing outside Omnium, and they are not shared with suppliers beyond what is needed to service the referred account.

Once an introduction becomes a client, their account data is governed by our standard privacy notice and client terms. We hold consumption and contract information for the purpose of managing the account, and we do not pass it to unrelated third parties.

We tell them honestly. If we cannot help, there is no cost or obligation to them, and no reward is due to you. We would rather protect your reputation than chase an unsuitable appointment.

We primarily support businesses with sites in England, Scotland and Wales. The regulatory position differs by country, especially for water, and we set out any limitations before we accept an introduction.

Register your interest

A short form, not a commitment. Nothing is agreed until it is in writing.

Tell us who you are and how to reach you, and we will call or email to talk through the programme.

How would you prefer us to contact you?
How we may use your details

The date and time of your choices are saved against your application record. We do not sell or pass your details to anyone outside Omnium. See our privacy notice for how long records are kept.
