Services

Energy consultant or energy broker?

How they are paid. What they check. What you sign.

In short

A broker's work usually ends when a supply contract is placed. A consultancy also checks invoices, agreed capacity, consumption and compliance, which a supplier switch does not change. Whichever you use, ask how they are paid and get the answer in writing.

What this does not do. This page describes the two models in general terms. It is not a ranking of any firm, and some brokers offer wider services.

The first review across your invoices costs nothing. Later work is quoted and agreed in writing before it begins. Cost recovery
